It’s challenging to plan events during a pandemic. But we need empathy and human connection more than ever.
So, our next live storytelling event will have two options to join: An in-person, outdoors event at Pine State Coffee or virtually live through Zoom.
Both ticket types go on sale at 8 a.m. Thursday (Sept. 2).
We want you to feel safe during our night of storytelling, so we’re limited in the number of people we’ll have at our in-person event.
We also know that outdoors is a safer setting for gathering. We’re grateful for Pine State Coffee to host our event on their outdoor patio! Pine State (and Runologie) are already community conveners, so this welcoming space is a natural fit.
For those who would like to attend in person: If you experience any symptoms of COVID, or if you’ve been in close contact with someone who may have COVID, please consider attending virtually.
In-person ticket types will automatically receive access to the virtual event, so you won’t miss out even if you aren’t feeling well or decide you’re not comfortable with in-person gathering.
About Converging Stories: Converging Stories is a local live storytelling series from Raleigh Convergence. Each storyteller shares a true, first-person story around the night’s theme.
This event is themed ‘The Fall,’ and each 10-minute story is a literal or metaphorical interpretation of that theme.
🗓️ In-person event details: Converging Stories: The Fall will be 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 20. at Pine State Coffee, 1614 Automotive Way, off Capital Boulevard in Raleigh. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. [TICKETS]
🗓️ Virtual details: Converging Stories: The Fall will be 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 27, live over Zoom. [TICKETS]
Storytellers will be announced soon!
