Converging Stories: Distance + Exploration is tonight! What to expect

IMPORTANT NOTE: Raleigh Convergence is no longer publishing, as of April 1, 2022. Read more.

Converging Stories is tonight! Here’s what to know. Haven’t attended one of our live storytelling events before?

Here’s what to expect, and why you’ll walk away with a deeper connection to the Raleigh community:

🎙️ Converging Stories is a live storytelling series from Raleigh Convergence, with four events each year.

🎙️ At each event, local storytellers who have been coached to share a true, first-person story take the mic for 10-15 minutes each.

🎙️ Each story (and storyteller!) is different, but the stories converge around the night’s theme. Tonight/Monday’s theme is distance and exploration

🎙️ This event includes four storytellers and a guest emcee who will share a short story!

🎙️ These aren’t TED talks or speeches, these stories share insights of the storytellers’ unique lived experiences.

🎙️ Through storytelling and active listening, we learn more about each other as neighbors and people

🎙️ In full, the event will start at 7 p.m. and last a little over an hour, with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. Seating is open and a bar will be available inside the ballroom.

🎙️ This is our first in-person event since Feb. 2020, at Transfer Co. Ballroom, 500 E. Davie Street, in Downtown Raleigh (you may know it for the food hall!).

🎙️ Tickets are only available online. Need help? We’ll be on site beginning at 6:15 p.m.

We would love to see you there!
