Research Triangle Park may first bring to mind employers such as Lenovo, GlaxoSmithKline or Cisco (and soon, Apple).
But Boxyard RTP aims to bring people west of Raleigh to to eat, drink, shop and experience.
The “cargotecture” development focuses on small businesses. Some announced small businesses that will have homes in Boxyard RTP are expansions of Raleigh businesses, such as Trellis Beauty (expanding from its Lafayette Village location) and Medicine Mama’s Farmacy (expanding from Hillsborough Street).
Some will be the first storefronts for mobile businesses, such as Raleigh’s Meat and Graze, Buzzy Bakes and Bulkogi.
See a full list here, but not all are opening this weekend. Watch individual businesses for announcements on openings.
