We are thrilled to announce that our live storytelling series is scheduled to be in person on July 12 at Transfer Co. Ballroom!
Our first event sold out the Transfer Co. Work Hall in February 2020. Then, the pandemic. The four events since have been virtual.
The July 12th in-person event will be themed Distance + Exploration (previously scheduled for June 7).
Tickets will go on sale at a later date.
We’re looking for storytellers now!
About the series: Converging Stories is a true, first-person storytelling series in which community members — your neighbors — are coached to share a story for insight around a theme. Each night of storytelling has a different theme.
Anyone connected with the Raleigh and Wake County community can submit their story idea on the theme!
How to submit for July 12th’s event:
🎙️ Send a short, 100-word idea to editor@raleighconvergence.com around the theme of Distance and/or Exploration. It doesn’t need to be polished or complete.
🎙️ Submit your idea no later than 11:59 p.m. May 16.
🎙️ Storytellers (usually 4-5) will be selected for coaching to tell their story live at the Converging Stories event.
