Good news: If you want to shop local in Raleigh for all your Christmas gifts or holiday purchases, there’s plenty of places to check off your entire list while supporting local businesses.

Besides the brick and mortar stores you should check out (Shop Local Raleigh has a good local business directory), there’s a multitude of holiday markets with local purveyors selling unique items.

Kinshop: The Holiday Experience

When: Saturday, Nov. 23, 12-5 p.m.

Where: Junction West in Downtown Raleigh.

When: Saturday, Nov. 23, 12-5 p.m.

Where: Big Boss Brewing, 1249 Wicker Drive in Raleigh

Shop Local Holiday Market at Gather

When: Saturday, Dec. 7, 11 a.m.-4 p.m.

Where: Gather, 417 Kildaire Farm Road, Cary.

Info: Shop local this holiday season from over a dozen emerging local makers selling their wares on Saturday, Dec. 7, from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. in the big backyard and front parking lot of Gather Goods Co in downtown Cary.

Over 12 emerging local makers will be selling their work, the Gather shop will be open for it’s once a year open house and everything from the Gather shop will be 20% off.
